¹⁴ For thus says Adonai God of Israel, ‘The jar of flour shall not be exhausted nor shall the jug of oil be empty until the day Adonai sends rain on the land.’”

¹⁵ So she went and did according to the word of Elijah—and she and he, and her household ate for many days. ¹⁶ The jar of flour was not exhausted, nor did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of Adonai which He spoke through Elijah.
